Early Life
Kim Min-sung was born on April 9, 1998, in Seongsu-dong, a neighborhood in Seoul that would later inspire much of his music. He grew up in a family of four, with his parents and his older brother, Jupiter Kim, who is also a rapper. From an early age, music played a significant role in his household, and it was through Jupiter that he first discovered his passion for rap.
He attended Seongwon Middle School and later graduated from Konkuk University College of Education Affiliated High School. During his school years, 365Lit was already drawn to music and performance. Despite facing bullying in middle school, he turned these struggles into fuel for his creativity, later revealing that some of the same classmates became his crew members in Under Seongsu Bridge.
Seongsu-dong itself was crucial to his identity: a district once known for its factories, later transformed into a cultural hub. 365Lit’s pride in his hometown is evident, as he frequently mentions it in his lyrics, aiming to put Seongsu-dong on the cultural map through hip-hop.
Career Path
Early Career
365Lit began his career under the stage name rud0vico and released his first official single, Imagination, in 2016. In 2019, under his current name, he debuted as an independent rapper with the single Drill Shit. His debut extended play, Fuck The Rule, released later that year, showcased his DIY spirit, as he produced, mixed, mastered, and recorded all the tracks himself.
Under Seongsu Bridge Crew
Together with his brother Jupiter Kim and childhood friends, 365Lit co-founded Under Seongsu Bridge (USB), a six-member hip-hop crew. The group’s mission is to turn Seongsu-dong into a recognized cultural hotspot, blending personal memories with collective artistry. 365Lit has contributed not only as a rapper but also as a composer, arranger, and sound engineer for the crew’s compilation albums.
Show Me the Money
365Lit rose to national fame through Mnet’s Show Me the Money competition series:
- Season 9 (2020): He competed alongside his brother Jupiter, impressing the judges with his Biscuit Freestyle and later verses. Though eventually eliminated in the Triple Crew Battle, he earned recognition as a promising trap rapper.
- Season 10 (2021): He returned stronger, passing multiple rounds with powerful performances like STAREX and Memories of You and Me. He reached the final round, finishing 9th overall. His witty diss battles and stage presence left a lasting impression on fans and producers alike.
Music Style and Influences
365Lit blends trap beats with melodic flows, often drawing influence from international acts like Migos and Korean artists like Beenzino. He studied the ad-lib style of Migos and adapted it into his own signature sound. His lyrics often reflect street life, loyalty, and the transformation of Seongsu-dong, while also weaving in humor and cultural references.
Recent Achievements and Ongoing Projects
Beyond music, 365Lit remains close to his family and especially to his brother Jupiter, who has been both a collaborator and a mentor. His MBTI type is reportedly ENFP, which reflects his energetic and creative personality.
He fulfilled his mandatory military service as a Republic of Korea Army Sergeant from May 2021 to November 2022.
Despite being relatively young, 365Lit has already achieved milestones:
